Our AMA encourages medical groups and other corporate entities, such as physician practice management corporations and limited liability corporations, to include in the contract language governing notification of patients regarding termination of a physician’s contract, wording which is in compliance with Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs Opinion 7.03 and/or model language developed by state medical societies.
